Our students continue to make valuable and positive impressions in industry and academics – including during their work at the Symposium today. Central Campus College Biotechnology in Medicine sophomore Sreelekha Kundu (Roosevelt High School) earned top honors and advances to the National Academy of Science Symposium at Massachusetts Institute of Technology later this spring. Abbie Youngwirth (East High School) is the 2nd alternate to represent Iowa at the National Junior Academy of Science and Makayla Sanford (Lincoln High School) won a $500 scholarship.

Karl Rasmussen (Senior – Johnston High School), Anna Owenson (Junior – Roosevelt), Lillian Nelson (Junior – Roosevelt) of Central Campus Marine Biology/Aquarium Science program were IJAS Senior Scholarship Winners at the Symposium.
