Average GPA: 2.5 or 2.0 with the instructor’s permission
Prerequisites: Excellent attendance, Child Development recommended

What careers will this program prepare me for?

Early Childhood Careers will help prepare you to work with and teach young children such as childcare teacher, after school care, or elementary teacher.

What type of credit can I earn?

Academic: 2 high school electives in Applied and Fine Arts
College credits in Early Childhood Education

What certifications will I earn?

First Aid/CPR Certificate
Blood Pathogen Training
Mandatory Reporter Training
Child Development Associate Credential after second year

120 hours of internship or after school care provider employment
