Central Campus works with Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), Indian Hills Area Community College (IHACC) and Iowa Central Community College (ICC) to provide concurrent enrollment which allows community college courses to be taught at the secondary level. In turn, students earn not only high school credit but also college credit at no financial cost to their families. Eligible students receive credit in all career and technical courses as well as many advanced placement courses.
In recent years, Central Campus students annually earned over 7,000 community college credits at a savings to their parents and families of approximately 1 million dollars. Since 1998, students have earned over 80,000 community college credits at a savings to their families of about 7.5million dollars.
