GLOBAL YOUTH INSITUTE AND WORLD FOOD PRIZE

photoMaxwell Murphy, Senior Roosevelt High School, participated in the Global Youth Institute portion of the World Food Prize. Max was selected out of many high school students to participate in such an event. This was a rigorous three days and lastly the most intense, where students presented their speeches in front of a panel of experts in their areas and not to mention 10-15 other peers that discussed a world issue. This is max after receiving his certificate Saturday. Max was able to mingle and discuss our world’s future with industry heroes, fellow world food prize peers and with other teachers. What a great representative for the Des Moines FFA, Central Campus and Roosevelt High School!
