He Will Be Missed

Central Campus has lost a well-respected instructor as well as a beloved friend.

Jon Richeson was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, February 21. His loss has radiated throughout Central Campus, the Des Moines Public Schools and the community as a whole.

Since 1995, Mr. Richeson has been a dedicated staff member of Central Campus and its technical programs. He devoted himself to his students and would often comment that he had the best kids!

Jon JR “Dutch” Richeson will be greatly missed by all of us here at Central and we send our thoughts and condolences to his parents, children, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 4-8 at Iles Funeral Home-Grandview Park at 3211 Hubbel Ave., Des Moines, IA.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 28, 2pm in the Auditorium of Central Campus, 1800 Grand Ave., Des Moines, IA.

All are welcome to come and share as his life is celebrated.
