WISHFUL THINKING
Students in the IESA class, taught by Larry Beall, have declared AN END TO WINTER! In fact to get ready for this, the second year students started ~3000 prairie plants with seeds. They have set up a small greenhouse in the back of the IESA class room. The goal is to then put the mature plants in small areas around both Central Campus and Central Academy. The plants will include native grasses and flowering plants. The hope is that they will survive and thrive throughout the summer for all to enjoy. This project is part of the DMACC class associated with the second year of the program. The class is Restoring Plant Communities.
