BRIGHT SCHOLARS AWARD

Des Moines Area Community College and the DMACC Foundation are pleased to award Jade Peters (East High) and Daykota Shelton (East High) with The Bright Scholars of Iowa Award. This scholarship is funded by the H. Dale and Lois Bright Foundation and provides four incoming students  up to $6,000 to cover their tuition, books, and fees. Students eligible for the award must meet certain criteria including demonstrate outstanding academic achievement (top 10% of high school graduation class or an ACT of 28 or above).  Jade Peters is currently enrolled in the Career Opportunities in Health program at Central Campus and Daykota Shelton is enrolled in the Fashion Design & Merchandising program.
