Helping the Ankeny Fire Department

One of the many things our students learn at Central Campus is to always give back to the community that supports us!  Students from the Central Campus American Welding Society fabricated an aluminum, diamond-plate storage cabinet for the Ankeny Fire Department. Under the direction of Welding instructor Ralph Young and associate Ed Ackerman, students Hunter Matthews, Devin Anderson, and Daniel Velez built this cabinet from specifications developed by Firefighter Gary Sanders. This cabinet will now be used to hold hand tools for the firefighters on the engine of the Ankeny Fire Department.  Looks great!
