More than 200 Central Campus students were honored for their work this year at a rally in the auditorium. The students were recognized for accomplishments in their field of study, completing the full academic program and for outstanding and consistent achievement. Congratulations to everyone!

Central History Students Qualify for Nationals

Two Central Academy students – Elena Hildebrandt and Jack Wahlig – have qualified for the National History Day competition, to be held next month in College Park, MD. Fashion Center Stage at Central Campus

More than 2,000 people turned out for the 2014 Central Campus Fashion Show, making it one of the most popular events on campus. “Urban Farmers” Shine at Iowa FFA Conference

When you think of agriculture in Iowa, Des Moines may be the last place that comes to mind. But when you think of agricultural education, DMPS should be at the top of the list. An 18,000 Pound Printer Goes Out the Window

A nine-ton printer was lifted out of the fourth-story window at Central Campus by crane over Spring Break. It was a two-day process. Students Honored for Anti-Violence Campaign

Central Campus film student Kelby Halfpop (pictured at left) was one of 12 Central students honored by the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence for their media projects to raise awareness about teen dating violence.
