Students at Central Campus in pursuit of culinary excellence under the direction of Chef John Andres scored some big victories at the SkillsUSA State Championships. Three students will be going on to represent DMPS and Iowa, competing at the national level at the SkillsUSA National Leadership Conference in Louisville, KY in June. Central Campus is throwing its doors open to the public this week during its 4th annual Block Party. The event kicked off with on Art Show on Monday and continued Tuesday with an Open House, giving the public a chance to see first-hand the many one-of-a-kind educational programs available at Central.
