WELDING SERVICE PROJECT

The American Welding Society Student Chapter located at Central Campus completed a service project out Main Stream Living, Inc. by overhauling an old trailer used to transport material. Main Stream Living, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is “to provide services to persons with disabilities which are designed to enhance opportunities, create success, and fulfill dreams”. Over 500 people are impacted by their services each day, services including community housing for the medically fragile, job support/job site-training, and psychological rehabilitation community housing and supported living. The Central Campus welding students refurbished their trailer free of charge within a 2 week time span, and the trailer was also painted by the Central Campus Auto Collision class.

We give a huge THANK YOU to our Welding and Auto Collision students for their hard work.
