Career Opportunities in Health students with interviewers

For some, Friday the 13th (May 13, to be exact) is a lucky day. Today, the morning Career Opportunities in Health (COH) students participated in mock interviews as a portion of the final for their integrated English course taught by Central Campus instructor Meja Pinkney. 17 professionals from UnityPoint Health-Des Moines, LifeServe Blood Center and Des Moines Schools spent their morning interviewing the COH students.

As COH instructor Jenna Eppert notes, “This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their strengths and share how their experiences throughout the year has helped them grow as individuals.”

At Central Campus, Iowa’s Premier Regional Academy for Advance Career Programs, our focus is on work-based learning. Real-life skills complement the knowledge gained in our #BestofTheBest classrooms.
